Roblox is an online gaming platform that was founded by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004 with a beta version.
The developer of the game is Roblox Corporation. Roblox was initially released in 2006. The game was released on 11 December 2012 in IOS and on 16 July 2014 on Android. The game has over 150 million monthly active users till July which shows the game has received a huge response from the public. The game is also rated very high by the critics.
The stats have also shown that the game was almost played by half of the children below 16 years in the United States.\’

Roblox has provided a gaming creation platform for the people. Roblox doesn’t build games on its platform instead it provides a platform for the developer to build their own game. It offers both single-player and multiplayer options within its game.
Game developers and content creators of games earned through a virtual currency within the game known as Robux.
The developers of the game are paid for their contribution to the game through people who play them. A percentage of revenue is divided between Roblox Corporation and Developer. Robux can be later converted into the working currency of the country.
The majority of games that are available on the Roblox are developed by children. Roblox offers people to create sell and buy various items to create their own Avtar within the game. These items can be purchased through Robux. Robux can be purchased within the game by the players with actual currency. The players can also buy some premium membership within the game.

FUTURE PLANS FOR THE GAME

While all other platforms are facing problems during COVID 19 pandemic Roblox earned a huge success during the pandemic.
The game witnessed a surge increase in its players from having 115 million users in February to over 150 million active users at the end of June. The game has earned over $250 million till June.
The Roblox Corporation has also made various plans for the coming period which include expanding developer tools and game improvement as well. Roblox gaming have made such announcement in the Roblox Developers Conference.
They also announced the features of a new service that will benefit the developers in finding others in their local communities. With these new features, the people are waiting for the update to be released soon. The Roblox has also plans for increasing their revenue till the end of 2020.
